For years electric heating has always had a bad name as very expensive to operate. This is the case unfortunately with most electric heating systems on the market at the moment but not for Jawo Heaters. Over 1000 hours of R&D have gone into producing the Jawo heaters in its current state. The emphasis on ‘energy-efficient’, ‘control’ and ‘workmanship’. Energy-Efficient: Jawo uses a material called Koalit as its heat source. When energy is applied to the Koalit heat core it gets to extreme temperatures very fast and cools very slowly. On average it consumes only 15 minutes of power to produce an hour’s heat. This Koalit heat core coupled with the powder – coated aluminum body of the heater makes the transfer of heat into the room a very quick process and the sensitive thermostat maintains the room at the desired temperature. This reduces heat loss that is seen in standard storage heaters or conventional radiators run on gas or oil boilers

Control: Control is achieved by the LCD digital programmer that comes with every Jawo radiator. The programmer is very user friendly and allows for 3 different heat modes throughout the day. 7 days a week 365 days a year. This will allow you to select different temperatures for different rooms at different times during the day/night

Other features of the LCD programmer include;

Holiday period – If you are going away on holidays then you can set the radiator for the amount of days you are away. The radiator will revert to ‘frost protection’ mode ensuring your property will never drop below a desired temperature while you are away. Then when your holiday is over it will automatically go back to your pre-set program leaving you with a nice cosy warm home to return too.

Keypad Lockout – This feature is allows you to lock out the keypad so all your settings are not tampered with. A very handy feature for when children are around or as we have found it for holiday homes where the heating expenses are part of the rented accommodation.

Economy heating – This feature allows you to maintain a low level of heat in the room when it is not occupied, heating a room with some form of heat in it is more efficient than trying to heat a room from cold.

Boost heating – This feature allows you to set the temperature of the room and the time you want the heating to be on for. The time segments are set in 30 minute intervals. When the time has elapsed the heater will return back to its pre – set program.
